How to convert PSD to PNG
- Drop your PSD files into the box above, or click it to choose them.
- PNG is already selected. Set the quality and maximum size if you want smaller files.
- Click Convert and download each image, or all of them as one ZIP.
Why convert PSD to PNG?
PSD is Adobe Photoshop's own file format. It keeps every layer, mask and adjustment so the design can be edited later.
Without Photoshop you can't open it, yet clients and colleagues often just need to see the finished picture.
Pick PNG when you need a transparent background or pixel-perfect edges, or when the picture will be edited again.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need Photoshop?
No. The converter reads the flattened image Photoshop stores inside the PSD, exactly what you see with all layers visible.
It says the PSD has no image. Why?
The file was saved with 'Maximize Compatibility' turned off, so Photoshop didn't store a flattened copy. Re-save it with that option on.
Can I convert several PSD files at once?
Yes. Add as many as you like; each one becomes its own PNG, and you can download them all as a ZIP.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion runs inside your browser on your own device. The files are never sent to a server, so nobody else can see them, and they're gone when you close the tab.
Is it really free?
Yes: no sign-up, no watermark, no daily limit and no ads. Because the work happens on your device, there are no server costs to pass on.
